The Best Bite Inspired by our surroundings
Inspired by their surroundings, Owners Ahmet & Charmaine Turkkan had a vision to bring a coastal beach vibe and fresh culinary experience rich in flavour to the visitors and locals of Bribie Island. The Turkan’s and their team are thrilled to be part of Bribie Island’s vibrant restaurant community and showcase the beauty and atmosphere Bribie Island has to offer. Founded in 2017, Sunset Pier is a café/restaurant for breakfast, lunch, catching up with friends, delicious coffee, cocktails, birthdays, special events, intimate weddings and so much more.
We are a licensed cafe with tempting beer and bubble choices, making a culinary visit all the more enjoyable! If you want to shake-up your beverage options choose one of our house-made cocktails. Our spacious and enclosed outdoor area is an ideal place for a family gathering or catch-up with friends. Children will love our dedicated Kid friendly menu. We are also a dog friendly cafe. We are located centrally along the Sylvan Beach Esplanade walking path, making us the perfect stop for a coffee and treat for your pampered ‘pooch’. There is even a fully-fenced doggy area the other side of the carpark.

Al Fresco dining is available at Sunset Pier with one of the most picturesque beachfront positions on Bribie Island. With a stunning view across the waters of the Pumicestone Passage towards the Glasshouse Mountains, Sunset Pier is a popular dining destination for both visitors and locals alike. Located at ground level the terrace is an enclosed outdoor contemporary space with a coastal vibe, that boasts a comfortable and intimate dining experience.
If you’re looking for an all-day breakfast in a relaxed location, then our place is a must for your Bribie Island bucket list. Whether you’re craving an Eggs Benediction or a Big Breakfast, we have you covered. We open early (7:00am) too so your breakfast is ready here, when you are! Be sure to check our latest menu often as we have a great selection of regular Sunset Pier favourites, as well as an ever-changing menu of delicious food choices and specials created by our amazing team.
