Terms and Conditions
Venue access for all bump in requirements is one (1) hour prior to your function start. Additional set-up time may be approved by your function coordinator. All decorations and set-up for your function are to be completed by your contractors and yourselves during your bump in duration. All decorations are at the client’s expense. Confirmation of final guest numbers and dietaries are to be finalised no less than one (1) Week prior to your booking date. Please note, no food or drink may be taken away at the conclusion of the function.
BOOKINGS/DEPOSITS/PAYMENTS Securing a function booking at Sunset Pier requires a non-refundable deposit of $500. Upon receiving this deposit, we will issue you a remittance and confirmation of your booking. Proceeding with your booking indicates you accept these terms and conditions. This deposit will be deducted from your final invoice. Full payment of function must be paid three (3) days prior to function date. Additional charges must be made one (1) week prior to function date.
MUSIC/LIVE ENTERTAINMENT MUSIC In-house speakers are available to use. Live music is also allowed at the client’s expense following function coordinator approval. A 9:00pm curfew applies to all music and live entertainment.
CONDUCT Sunset Pier practices Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), therefore we reserve the right to refuse service of alcohol or close the bar at our discretion. Sunset Pier is not responsible or liable for the conduct of you or your guests, including any failure to observe any legislative or regulatory license or authorisation. Please note – bar will close 15 minutes prior to venue closing. Under no circumstances will alcohol be permitted outside of our venue.
PERSONAL PROPERTY Sunset Pier takes no responsibility for damage or loss of any personal belongings. All items brought into the venue by you or your guests is done so at their discretion. You are solely responsible for all theft, loss or damage to any property, equipment or merchandise in the venue, as well as any personal items brought into the venue by you or your guests. Collection of all belongings must be done at the conclusion of the function.
CANCELLATIONS No refund within one (1) week to the function date.
ADDITIONAL FEES A fee may apply for any food items to be brought in from outside the venue for consumption during functions. Any additional items you request to bring in outside of this may incur additional fees determined by but not limited to the quantity and require approval from the function coordinator prior to the function. A cakeage fee of $10 applies for any cake to be brought onto the premises and can be cut by our chef.
SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS Special dietary requirements need to be notified to the Functions Coordinator no later than one (1) week prior to the function to ensure we have efficient time to cater for your requirements.
